Once your store set up is complete, it is now time to start thinking about expanding your customer base and bring online customers to your store.

How to share your online store/ product with your customers?

Online
  1. Go to your SmartBiz app home page and you will see your online store URL.
  2. Click on the share option and start sharing the URL with your customers.*
  3. Alternatively, click on the profile tab on your SmartBiz app.
  4. Click on the option ‘Share store’.
  5. You will see two options to share your store:
    1. A QR code that you can download and share on popular social media and chat commerce platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp, or provide for immediate scan and,
    2. A website link that will direct customers to your online store. You can share this link on chat, social media, email, SMS, and other platforms.
*NOTE: Sellers can only share the URL of the store after adding at least one product to their catalog and setting up their payment gateway
In-store

You can promote your website in your physical store by placing your online store’s QR code on placards (as in-store danglers, standees, and merchandise), and across pamphlets, brochures, posters, and other marketing collaterals. This will encourage customers to shop directly online the next time onwards.

Where should you promote your online store?

1. Use social media to let your followers know about your store:

Use your social media account to let your followers know about your online store. Update your profile description to add your store link, post products on stories with swipe-up links for customers to directly make purchases, and create highlights for products/ FAQs.

2. Send an email/SMS to your existing customers:

Another way to let people know about your online store is to email/ SMS your existing customers. This will help your existing customers explore your newly created online store and drive organic traffic to the same.

3. Tell your close friends and family about your store:

You can reach out to your friends and family about your online store. Ask them if they know anyone who might be interested in visiting your site. This will help you to drive word-of-mouth marketing for your store and receive honest feedback.

4. Use chat/ instant messaging to connect with customers:

Instant messaging platforms like WhatsApp are a great way to communicate with customers and reach out to people in your contacts. You can set up a bot or create standard templates for sending all kinds of messages to your existing customers, such as welcome messages, new product alerts, and deals/ sale event updates.
